Blackberry Waffle

Sprouted whole grain waffle with homemade blackberry and blueberry compote topping. I used Pamela’s gluten free, dairy free, 0g sugar waffle mix. 

Ingredients for Compote

  1. 1 cup fresh blackberries
  2. 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  3. 3 Tbsp coconut sugar (blonde)
  4. 1 Tbsp cornstarch 
  5. 1/4 fresh lemon juice


  1. Cook berries in a medium sauce pan over medium heat
  2. Add lemon juice and coconut sugar. Stir about 5 minutes
  3. Add cornstarch and take off heat
  4. Pour over waffle and enjoy
